Over the yayla from Gürpınar to Edremit
Having climbed from Gürpınar to the ruins of the St. Marinos Monastery, I decided not to return via the same way but to pass over the mountain in the direction of Edremit. The walk offered beautiful views over Lake Van and an encounter with nomads who reside on these mountain pastures in the spring season.
