Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery

One of the landmarks of the town of Ahlat is its extensive cemetery, famous for the large number  of ornamented Seljuk tomb stones (11th century and later), by far the greatest of its kind. Tomb stones in the same style can be found in several places in the Van area.
